Convolutions of the Heart could be about binaries and contrasts: the pure white drapery, as spotless as our idealisation of love, might represent the cerebral or spiritual, resting inside the plump and shiny lips of what could be a heart or a petal, visceral, sexual; two lovers nestling together; or the complicated twists of emotion within the heart of relationships.
